Another thought from my time with Team Verb: Ro

Rory has let us know multiple times that employees at all levels of Verb are paid mostly in stock. The bitter irony of it all was that very day the company is ringing the bell, the stock hits lows it has not seen for considerable time. You would have thunk the doom and gloom would have been rampant throughout both investors and employees as we spent the entire day together with plenty of opportunity to bitch and snipe and quarrel and question. But that couldn't have been farther from the truth. Honestly, I did not hear one negative comment from a single member of Team Verb the entire time I was there...not even a mention of being tired.
How can that be? You’d think these people whose life’s wages and their payment for their continued 12 hour days and 7 day weeks would be freaking at the sight of their stock being trashed on the very day they are ringing the Nasdaq bell. Wasn’t happening. We were all partying like it was 1999 and I can assure you, their joy was real. Why is that?????????????
