I thought about doing that.
Several downside is that you lose some benefits of owning shares that you don't get with warrants.
You get NO voting rights with warrants (if that matters to you?)
No economic value of rising share price. This is would be a concern if you have your shares in a Margin account. As share price rises, you Marginability rises to buy stocks on margin.
You can't do Options (Put and Calls) with warrants.
However, if these don't matter to you, know pps will rise and you have a long term outlook, then warrants are a good tool.
At 69 y/o, my long term is not so long term as it was when I was 50 y/o!!!
