Boasting a new processor that is 50 percent faster than previous models, the R7 is Uniden’s most powerful detector. The R7 takes all of the newest features found in the industry’s most highly rated detectors, the Uniden R1 and R3, and adds advanced multi-directional technology.
Dual antennas detect which direction the radar threat is coming from and provides an alert to drivers via an arrow icon on the R7 ’s large, ultra-bright color OLED display. The detector also shows signal strength and provides additional assurance with a GPS-enabled red-light camera alert and a max speed warning alert.
