I’m new here to this forum, coming over from iHub.
Last Wednesday my buddy and I, both SHMP shareholders, flew out of our home state of Florida and made the trek to San Antonio for the short hop to the metropolis of LaCoste Texas and visited NaturalShrimp’s production facility. We had a fantastic time and honestly it could not have been a better visit in my mind.
Quite frankly, I was shocked that they granted us access in the first place (I had to work some magic on Gerald to get him to bite off on it).
The entire team was VERY gracious with their time and information. We saw and heard a great deal about NaturalShrimp, from their austere beginnings and their numerous trials and tribulations, to their current successes.
Gerald was reluctant to allow us to visit because they don’t really have the time to be leading tour groups through the facility. They are busy here and there is also a very real risk of disease outbreaks if you let every Tom, Dick and Harry come around an enclosed aquaculture operation that DOESN’T USE ANTIBIOTICS and other PROHIBITED drugs to prevent these outbreaks.
This I will freely tell any and all concerned. They are wide-open throttle there at the LaCoste facility. There is so much work being done and things are ramping up daily. There is nothing to hide. No smoke. No mirrors. Gerald and the team let us walk all over the place and take pictures and answer questions (even some of ours that were probably stupid and redundant.
The place is ENORMOUS and filling up quickly with new tanks and equipment. There is a huge empty lot just primed and ready for new production buildings to be built as the revenue stream opens up.
One complaint that many shareholders have stated is that the management team has been less than spectacular with the release of information. I won’t necessarily disagree with that sentiment and conveyed as much to Gerald as we sat and sampled their fantastic tasting shrimp. We picked his (their) brain and offered ideas on how they could relate better to the shareholders. Gerald was very patient with us and let us say our piece and would back some of his decisions on sound judgement. Sometimes sound judgment and impatient investors don’t always agree. Bottom line his number one goal is getting this thing done RIGHT! When it is down right the shareholders will be taken care of by default.
I thought the visit was fantastic and I have mad respect and admiration for these guys.
They even gave us 4-5 lbs of their beautiful shrimp to take home and share with our family. These guys...Gerald, Tom, and Mike Pineda are great guys, and were perfect hosts. Anyone who thinks this is a scam could not possibly be more mistaken.
I will freely respond to anyone who has questions or comments for me.
Good luck to all and Roll SHMP Roll!
