Could Brilacidin be useful here?

Basically it's about a superbug in a fungi version. It's not only an interesting weekend read, it also make me wonder: could the HDP-mimetics of Brilacidin with its antibiotic power be applied as antifungal as well?
At first glance it seems that antibiotics and antifungals are somewhat similar. They're both antimicrobial in the end, and share the aim of reducing the possibility of infection and sepsis.
From a business perspective this seems like an amazing mostly untapped market opportunity. The agricultural sector with its pesticides alone is humangous.
I'm not a scientist and do not claim to know much about this. But is it possible?
