That’s long been an excuse to not try some policies that work in other countries. No reason you can’t scale it up, but I’d like to see data on that. After all, we currently spend two to three times as much per capita on health care as most industrialized countries.

Would taxes go up on the ultra-rich? Undoubtedly but that’s probably another issue we’d disagree on.
