It has been about a year since our last positive clinical trial result (B-OM subgroup analysis PR'd on 4/9/2018). Since then it has been a series of successively worse financing deals, patent issuances, clinical trial meetings, minimal laboratory work, corporate reststructuring, low visibility partnership discussions, etc. while we scrape the bottom of the barrel to survive in the hopes of a hail mary deal.
What type of deal will we do? All speculation.
what drug will be in the first deal? All speculation.
What will the deal terms be? All speculation.
How long until we need more funding? All speculation.
Once we get some real concrete direction and clarification on our means to achieve that direction, I suspect more stimulating IPIX discussion will return to both boards.
It's a difficult investment to hold for some. Will we hear about a deal in weeks? Months? This year? We don't know. We could sign one tomorrow or it might take until Christmas. This is biotech. Things take a long, long, long time.
