I just saw the local newspaper and it looks like NJ is reviving an old campaign "You Drive...You Text...You Pay" Nobody responds to slogans - especially not teenagers. When the government came to AT&T and VZ years ago about stopping texting and driving, our retort was "it was really up to the phone makers". We all know how easy their apps are to turn off. The end result was that T & VZ put up $10M (maybe each ??) to fund the infamous and totally ineffective "It Can Wait" campaign. Internally, the feeling was that "the phone companies" didn't want to limit phone use for fear of losing subscribers to alternative providers (who didn't limit usage). Big companies will almost always put profits/the bottom line over safety.
CBD is getting bigger by the day. I'm just not sure that $100K (or, $1M) buys us a ticket to the CBD party. Large drink bottlers (Coke) are getting involved. Large pharmacy chains (CVS; RiteAid) are getting involved. Maybe we can make more money by selling our product direct to consumers and undercut the "legal MJ" prices which are sure to be high and include big government taxes and subsidies.
