Our local news (out of Phila) did a short "piece" on distracted driving. Mentioned various forms of "distraction" and ended with an emphasis on the tickets/fines that could be given for first & subsequent violations. Piece was short & "missed the mark" with cell phone usage "just one of the distractions" and the main emphasis on penalties instead of avoidance.
While I found the piece lacking, it still would have been good to follow with an ONCI and/or customer specific commercial after the news teed up the subject. Would have been great to have follow-up commercials in areas wherever PL #2 is in business.
Lets see what tomorrow and the rest of the week/month brings.
