It would be great if CYDY can land significant upfront payment and the 5% license agreement as noted in the article.
There was talks of ihub today about maybe they were so far apart on figures that no license agreement is still in play. That may be the case for HIV/GvHD, but I would think the prognostic test would have both parties in the same ballpark and make a deal much more likely. Also, early interviews NP stated multiple discussions/offers and they submitted a counteroffer. At least I understood one counter-offer, but I guess they could've submitted multiple counter-offers......but my thought is maybe one of the early offers was this prognostic test and the counter-offer was in regards to HIV/GvHD?
Purely speculation, but interesting and would be a welcomed event!
A couple other coincidences is that NanoString Technologies is located nearby in Seattle, WA and that RP used NSTG's equipment to develop a prognostic test in prostate cancer.
