......and what I'm saying is that from what I read in that article, for a company to do a 1-10,000 RS and have the PPS drop that significantly, there might be more to it than a few insults being thrown around on a message board. It was my opinion - I didn't say it was fact or law. Calm down, Jumpy.
Did you read the article? At the end, it is stated that the company's (Lecere) latest financial statement in September posted low revenues, big losses & a negative net worth. And the posts that this guy was sued for came after Lecere implemented an "unusual" 1-10,000 reverse split. I can see how words can affect a company to do such a thing to it's shareholders - especially when they are posted after the deed had already been done..........
If I was a shareholder of that company, I'd be full of venom too.
Believe me, I am certainly no advocate for the bashers. I have always posted comments calling them out on their bullsh*t. The only affect they have is on people who are too lazy to do DD on a company on their own. But lets be realistic, although the bashers definitely aren't there to help a situation - sometimes they and their employers are not the cause of it either. They're like vultures, they see something injured and will swoop in and pick it apart till there's nothing left.
Am I comparing Lecere to Punch? Nope. There has absolutely been some devious shyt going on with this security since last May that has made it plummet like it has, but the company itself has not posted losses like that, has shown improvement in it's business model, and no recent RS that has affected the current crop of shareholders. The decline of the PPS here started way before the last Q release. The increase in shares in the last quarter was a gift to the MMs who had intentions on driving this down anyway - not to mention to say that it was "surprising" to us shareholders is a big time understatement. Anyone who thought this was going to be an instant payday was sorely mistaken. Until numbers are released that actually reflect what longs feel this company could be worth, this shorters/bashers/ flippers paradise will keep on going.
