Thank you!!! I'm glad to hear you got the email out to them about Alex Trebek. It should be possible under the "Right to Try" Bill that was signed by President Trump.
Who qualifies for Right to Try?
To be eligible for Right to Try, a patient must meet the following conditions:
Be diagnosed with a life-threatening disease or condition;
Have exhausted approved treatment options;
Be unable to participate in a clinical trial involving the eligible investigational drug, as certified by a doctor, who is in good standing with her licensing organization and will not be compensated directly by the manufacturer for so certifying; and
Give written informed consent regarding the risks associated with taking the investigational treatment.
The only issue I see is the exhausted approved treatment options - but he has stage 4 cancer and at that point most traditional treatments will still fail. Would be an excellent time to test Chemo with Leronlimab. It would put them on the map! Imagine if doctors saw a way better than normal reduction in Tumors using the standard Chemotherapy methods? But I do understand that at stage 4, if it fails, it might hurt their reputation as it maybe too far along to actually save him. I dunno.. I think anything is better than nothing...
