GetFunded.com Opens Pre-Registration for Businesses
Company will Give the First 25 Fundraisers Selected up to $5,000 each for their Projects
RED BANK, N.J., Jun 06, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Apps Genius Corp (OTCBB: APGS ) ( www.appsgenius.com ), today announces that its soon to be launched crowdfunding site, GetFunded.com is open for pre-registration to all businesses. In effort to attract the pre-registration of the best possible businesses seeking crowdfunding, Apps Genius is announcing that it will contribute up to $5,000 in funding per project for the first 25 selected and feature the 25 projects on the GetFunded.com site. Some of the criteria that the company will be evaluating are originality, sustainable competitive advantage and potential market size. Company contributions will range between $500 and $5,000. Those interested in becoming part of the pre-registered fundraising program may enter their applications at www.GetFunded.com .
Apps Genius plans its Beta Stage launch of GetFunded.com in approximately 45 days. The platform will allow users to donate financially to the development of a wide rage of products and services. In its initial beta release, GetFunded.com will allow users to contribute to a project in exchange for services or products. Depending on the implementation of the JOBS Act, it might be possible for companies to use crowdfunding as a source of financing by selling securities. If so, then GetFunded.com may apply to become an approved portal site with the ability to allow users to invest and purchase shares in companies through crowdfunding in accordance with the requirements of the JOBS Act.
