It can and most often does drop initially following a reverse split. What's important is that the catalysts coming at the same time and/or shortly afterward cause it to bounce back and begin a strong uptrend.
Those who don't believe that's what will most likely happen here are in for a very rough ride as they misinterpret what they're seeing.
I've said it repeatedly since this RS was announced. It'll get messy. Just ride it out, because you can't pound your head against the wall hard enough to force anything to happen other than to produce some painful lumps to rub while you wait.
This company is winning, not losing, so a reverse split IS NOT the start of a death spiral in this case. It's the start of awesome, successful growth, and if you can't see that, you're in for a very unnecessarily stressful transition.
