I wouldn't think too much about the symbol change at the moment.
There clearly has been a handling of th3 symbol differently by nearly every institution or brokerage house.
The major takeaway from all of this is, it's in motion.
Remember, NASDAQ agreed to the uplist and the day of the uplist last week. They haven't slowed the process up at all. In fact, they even agreed and recommended an expedited process and uplist.
As for the SEC, we don't know the reason why the are asking for some more info on SC.
As Rory said, the SEC had all the necessary paperwork. Rory also said he and #teamVERB has that paperwork as well at the ready.
So, two things, the SEC isn't asking for anything "more" above and beyond what they have already asked for and Rory and the team isn't being asked to produce something they didn't have and or do more DD that already hasn't been done.
Simply a guess, it could have been a clerical error. Simple as that.
SEC could have been completing all the paperwork for the uplist that was happening in less that two hours and some just could not find the page or pages they needed. And instead of sending people scrqmbling they simply just made a call and asked for what ever they couldn't find.
So, if Rory has the paperwork and their isn't any extra step needed for the paperwork,one they need original signed copies or something stamped etc, then it's will be on the timetable of the SEC.
I imagine they will have a point person to handle the "updated" information and could process quite quickly.
I am not expecting tomorrow AM. That would entail someone showing up to work early and signing off on some pretty critical documents at the crack of dawn. Not impossible, also not likey.
I also don't not forsee it taking 2 weeks. If it is the case is all correct from above, then the SEC will probably want to conclude this pretty quickly.
VERB is all set, Sound Concepts is all set, The NASDAQ is all set and the SEC is "essentially" there.
I believe what will happen next is the SEC will call or email Rory and say, you're all set and will uplist "in the AM" whenever that is or they will say great, we just need blah blah sent over now and you're good to go.
Once Rory gets that update a new RTN will be put out saying, this is it "guys and gals or VERBers"
This is just the moment of pause at the top of the roller coaster before we start this brilliant ride!
