There certainly has been a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth over the reverse split the past several days. Well, here’s my two cents worth.
Though I would have preferred that we did not have a reverse split, I have to look at the logic of the situation and admit that it was inevitable, due to the number of authorized and/or outstanding shares.
Though this will drastically reduce the number of shares all of us possess, we are all in the same boat – and we need to keep a few things in mind I think. First of all, this does not affect all the deals and effort that the management has been making. They too have skin in the game. And they know this will reduce any thoughts of crazy riches down to mere riches for everyone including themselves.
It will only be a matter of time before we stop seeing people dumping shares 1,000,000 at a time or even more. That simply will not be possible. Unless there are some people out there with huge, unimaginably large amounts of shares in their back pocket. I am looking forward to seeing what is going to happen in the near future, even if it means this coming week everybody starts dumping their shares driving the share price down even further. All that means is I can accumulate even more. Bring it on.
