The shorts would've just continued to pound the pps back down. At this point, they'll have fundamental drivers in place to prevent that from happening and a great chance at conventional financing to stop further dilution, or most of it at least.
Many don't understand that a low ratio RS will actually accelerate the value of their stock much more than without the split, and at some point they'll probably need to forward split to provide enough shares to meet the demand, so we would get our shares back anyhow.
It's only bad with a failing company, and despite what the bashers say, this is NOT a failing company by any means!
We'll be just fine, though some folks may have melt downs and even exit. Oh well, nothing can be done about that sometimes. I will try to help some folks understand that it's not nearly the ship wreck that they think it is, but some just don't understand.
