One more thing that stood out to me was Michael Welch’s leadership. He has shown growth and humility. A lot of CEOs think they know everything, and they “think” they listen to their staff but they don’t. Michael listens intently to his team of experts. The discussion they had about what label to use on each product really highlights Michael’s ability to listen to his experts but make the final decision as a leader. I have had to work for many different types of leaders and bosses, and I can tell Michael Welch would be someone I would want to come to work for. He created an environment that promotes creativity and inspires his subordinates with trust and confidence by allowing them to do their jobs.
If you are paying attention then you can see that Rocky Mountain High is a small company that is about to be much much much bigger than the sum of its parts. Very impressed.
