I don't know if the dog owners would administer a test at home, or if the strips would be sold to the veterinarians? The two products that DECN makes are both for at-home testing and thus should be considered retail products and not medical based products. Plus, vets by and large do not have retail sections of their practice devoted to non-food based products.
My former company had an animal based group of products, mostly medications, and we worked hard to develop a vet testing product about 10 years ago. We failed because there was no business model available to attract vets.
