Instead of pie in the sky crispr babies or bone marrow transplants, both talking about blocking ccr5, maybe one day we will see an actual feasible solution discussing leronlimab: a safe, effective, most obvious, and current available way to block the receptor. Yes it is not permanent, so not as sexy, but a feasible permanent solution does not exist, making leronlimab the next best alternative. All of this ccr5 talk now should make for positive energy when leronlimab is approved.
