Is it unreasonable to think this can happen in an expedient manner? well my reasoning is as follows.
Well lets see ... DSS is a fact. It's happening. FACT
DSS sale were down about 4 mil from previous year. FACT They might have lost business do to competition and not having encryption to offer clients. Might have had some data losses due to hacking key loggers.
If I am DSS, we already have communicated to my key customers about Encryption, what it will do and why and when we should have it available and when we want to implement it. Thats me.
DSS's PPS did jump on this news 60 % fact
They are a cyber security company and have a client base. They are a technical savvy company. So they should with a little help from ACS have smooth implementation.
I would assume they want to prevent customer losses and create revenues ASAP and the only way to get that, is to implement the new keystroke encryption programs, ASAP , there is no middle man. They would do what Cisco did with DUO get it into the customer base asap!
Not all jobs are created equal , DSS is small potatoes when compared to First Data or the US Army timewise to implement. Its just Keystroke encryption and ACS has the experience of implementing First Data internationally so with all they learned in problem solving and testing, should make it easier , quicker in other international installations. Thats common sense.
No mandates just motivation to stop data loss prevention and the loss of millions for PCs Cell phones and customer retention.
It would make sense that there is an urgency to the matter. Maybe not , if that is the case I am misreading the situation.
If all the above is logical , then there is Urgency by all parties, and urgency benefits all. I would assume everyone is on the sooner than later train.
We will see.
But we have a somewhat dazed investor base. we have been through a lot. Not their fault. I understand.
But a new distributor DSS who has an established successful cyber security business in 13 countries . in ASIA includes Australia, China, Thailand , Singapore. With expedient blessing all involved.
