There is a class of sweeteners called sugar alcohols that taste great and have a glycemic index of 0/1. Erithritol is one. And then there is stevia, which I don't believe is a sugar alcohol but has a glycemic index of zero. The issue here is cost. Hopefully management will figure out a way to use these sweeteners which, if not exactly good for you, are definitely not bad for you as other, more familiar sweeteners are.
