That's a pretty good article but the part about, "In 1890, Clarence and E. Irvin Scott developed the first toilet paper on rolls", is completely wrong. Toilet paper on a roll was first invented in South Carolina well before Clarence and E. Irvin ever thought about it, What happened was, some years before 1890, a huge hurricane cut a path through the state one night and left destruction everywhere it went. When the people got up the next morning and looked outside, they saw that all of the outhouses for miles around had been knocked over and the pages of the Sears & Roebuck catalog had been wrapped around corncobs.
I was glad to get you straightened out about how rolls of toilet paper really came about. If I can be of further help, please feel free to holler. LOL
