And so we wait like helpless baby birds... Eyes shut.. Waiting for mother to come back to the nest to vomit any morsel of food into or open mouths.... Our thin necks straining as we feel the vibration on the edge of the nest.. We push and beg to be the one who gets the regurgitated bug or worm to give us strength to grow into what we will become...
