Bruce, I was involved with a stock about 7 years ago that was doing the same thing - proposed RS, needed to get public holders to support the proposition. I received probably 10 calls from their "herding agent" to convince me to vote for the proposal. Once I finally did vote (I voted against it!), the calls stopped. So they were looking at who had filed a vote vs who did not.
Nice DD. I'm surprised you didn't dunn Dumontier for his comment about a non-vote being a vote for the proposal. Your DD clearly shows it is just the opposite - abstentions and non-votes are essentially votes against the proposal.
BTW, that was true with the company I dealt with 7 years ago, as well. That vote did not pass because of that very issue - so many non-votes, they did not receive a majority to pass the initiative.
