Bob g, your question is most valid. I think we are all wondering the same thing. I have never owned a stock where there was a dividend declared subject to the spinoff of another company occurring sometime in the future. So, I don't know how these things are processed. I guess we are all going to learn soon. I have conducted research into similar circumstances but there seems to be a lot of gray area. I know that TC has attempted to explain the procedures here but it is still hazy to me. Maybe TC can clarify what he thinks will happen from this point on with this dividend 1 for 4. I trust his knowledge.
