Unfortunately, newbies like me about 1&1/2 years ago don't really know where to start. I had come across the other site first but didn't know better. Thanks to you Red and a few others, I found this place. My view on the other site now is it is just a sandbox for kids and BW to play in.
As far as their intro page, it reflects the mods. Some are childish, some are haters of the stock they mod., and some are serious and want good information. They post opinions versus just facts. They are not in unity about Verb and therefore their intro looks like a battle of information on a flashing neon sign imo.
It is obvious that this board's intro is about Verb, not just the mod's personal opinion and their agenda. It is also nice that the mods here are in agreement and have a vested interest in Verb, therefore have a reason to post facts.
I think the best thing that someone can do for the other site is look for real newbies and guide them here through PMs so they will know there is a site with real information with mods that care about their investment, Verb. Wow, that was a long sentence! When firefighters try to save people in a burning building, they don't stay there with them, they get them out. Let the building (liehub) burn down.
