I will never think of it before you said it ...))
Most of the articles I read lately about CCR5 and different diseases in someway related to it , are almost unbelievable ...
5 years ago I don't think I knew anything/much about CCR5 !!! and look how things progress during this time..
Reaction of patients with stroke and Traumatic Brain Injury to CCR5 inhibitors will be follow very closely . So many patients with severe disabilities after those episodes and any improvement will be important.
The same with cancers ,
After reading some of the research and reading our results in pre-clinical study with breast cancer ,
( 98% )
I understand why our both doctors are so confident and happy.
I be very interested now to see what % of existing metastasis will be gone or reduced with Leronlimab.
In one of Dr Pestell slide he is showing a person with colon cancer and significant metastasis to liver , lungs and other organs .
After 60 days on Maraviroc those metastasis were " drastically reduced " he said.
All of this is really impressive, and looks that improvement is accomplished early in the treatment , this is why , probably every 21 days when tests for CTC will be done , news will be made .
I hope first patient with TNBC will be injected very soon. Maybe tomorrow we will have some news.????
And Maraviroc is really toxic , so they cant increase dose without serious problems,
as we know so far not one serious side effect with Leronlimab so dose could be adjust easy.
This is a big reason why after working for few years Dr Pestell left Maraviroc and is working only with Leronlimab.
