Absolutely "may help for those (judges) not familiar with our lawsuit." The only thing I can liken it to in my experience is giving a new weapon system briefing. Good graphic support (Power Point) was critical in helping my audiences fully understand the threat. The key however is that the briefer's slides cannot be overly detailed/wordy. In the case of our defensive software a few flow diagrams might also prove useful IMHO.
