got lucky. I check the volume each morning posting on the main ihub page and then look at the chart. I also check a few boards,
The smart money board posted about achv at 7am this morning. SmartMoney always is in on the action. I don't even know what achv does, just a quick trade on ta.

Claytrader's board -- though they never post anything about penny stock on that board (he only day trades big board stock)
I also check stocktwits hot stocks and I check the ihub breakout boards, which is how I found cydy years ago, the most read board etc.
I traded 1M shares of brkk last week on ta under .005, made good money, but then it hit 1.5c this week... ouch. But again I don't even know what brkk does, I just traded it on ta, knowing it was on the hot stock list bringing in good volume.
I also check out peomstone, he finds a few gems and sheepwolf (right at the beginning of his new stock pick, he usually has 5x to 10x runners).

I usually find a good runner each day to trade if I have time. I don't usually have time on Monday or Wednesday, but have a little time on Friday morning. When cydy hits, maybe I can retire and trade other stocks some if I need any supplemental income. It does help in watching the slow moving cydy, but I don't trust the others to hold long term like cydy, which is why I'm here.
