Jason lists on his LinkedIn that he has been the CTO of Utopya for 2 years and 1 month. In that time, he and Brewster have failed to bring a single phone to market. Not one. They have apparently had demos for over a year now, at least, yet we still haven’t seen one phone.
You can’t blame lack of funds, even if that may be the case, because they have issued more than enough shares to friends and others to pay for some sort of manufacturing. No, this is a combination of outright lies and failure. They failed to plan accordingly for how they were going to fund this operation and instead of using shares to fund it, they lined the pockets of their friends.
Now Melanie has been on board for over six months and as far as we know they haven’t sold one damn thing. It’s a shame that she would tarnish her name, along with Darryl Green, Loudon Owen and others who put there name to this to enrich others on the backs of shareholders. We all knew this was a penny stock, so the odds of it being a scam were high, but with names like that you expected this to be the exception, you expected them to at least try. I’m embarrassed I ever stood up for this company. I’ll sit here and wait like the rest of you because there is nothing else to do but it’s amazing that all these people would tarnish their names and reputations for a company that can’t get anything done and has failed shareholders time and time again. I hope they read this and all the other posts on message boards and feel embarrassed, ashamed and guilty for what they have done. They won’t, because they are greedy, lying POSs but hey that’s our world these days. How Mike Starkweather can portray himself as a Christian, but scam all these folks is beyond me. How will he explain Utopya to his children one day if he’s called out?
If Utopya pulls a miracle and actually sells a phone, EVER, I will be suprised. Until then we wait. What a shame this has become.
P.S. I don’t need reply’s about how Mike was the past and it’s all behind us and only blue skies to look forward too. If you think this is all sunshine and rainbows you are lying to yourself and everyone on this board. This board isn’t full of stupid people, many see beyond the BS. We only wish we saw Mikes and others BS from the beginning.
