I wish my experience with such actions were more positive in the past, but I've yet to hold a stock that successfully did a R/S with the investors doing that well. I'm not saying it can't happen, clearly it can, but I suspect it will take years just to get back to the level we were at before they announced it.
Personally I like the idea of creating approved drugs that utilize cannabis, I've not lost all faith in the company, but I wish they'd do more to justify a higher stock price, and I've been critical of them for not being more open about what they're doing. I do intend to keep my investment, and may average down if it goes much lower, but I'm waiting to see it put in a floor. I do have some sub penny stocks that have traded at sub penny levels for years. In one case I saw a stock go from sub penny to over $20 but it fell back almost as fast as it rose. Anything is possible, but for now I'd like to see patent approvals and more information about trials to move the stock up before anything on the reverse split occurs.
