CINCINNATI, Feb. 13, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Human Capital Management (HCM) company Paycor today announced it will be hosting its bi-annual Web Summit, titled “RISE Above the Status Quo.” This free, online webinar series will take place Feb. 19-20, 2019, and will teach HR leaders how to build a culture of engagement, manage compliance and risk in 2019 and demonstrate HR’s ability to impact the bottom line.

In October 2018, Paycor released research titled, “ People Management: Perception vs. Reality ” and found that many small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) are struggling to rise above the status quo. Some significant findings include:

  • 80 percent of SMBs say they don’t effectively engage their employees
  • Nearly half of those surveyed don’t effectively monitor turnover metrics
  • And 49 percent of HR leaders are concerned their work doesn’t impact the bottom line

Many SMBs face these challenges because they lack the right combination of technology and expertise to achieve their goals. The good news is that HR and finance leaders are uniquely positioned to solve these problems. Paycor’s Web Summit will provide the actionable insights business leaders need to make a lasting impact on their organizations.

Highlights of the two-day event include:

  • The opening keynote presentation titled, “The Future of HR,” led by Jennifer McClure, CEO of Unbridled Talent and DisruptHR, will discuss what skills HR leaders must master to deliver more value - and find greater executive support - within their organizations to thrive in the business environment of the future.
  • The summit will include a total of 12 sessions led by industry experts divided across three tracks: “Rise Above the Status Quo,” “Rise Above Low Engagement” and “Rise Above Compliance Risk.”
  • The virtual event will also give HR professionals the opportunity to earn HRCI and SHRM continuing education credits, at no additional cost.
