RUNCORN, Cheshire, Feb. 12, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ReAgent Chemical Services has tripled its manufacturing space with the opening of a new eco-friendly facility. Standing at 38,000 square foot, the built-to-spec premises offer the most efficient, high quality and eco-friendly service to customers.

Located on Runcorn’s Whitehouse Industrial Estate, ReAgent’s new facility is the culmination of two years’ work. Every feature has been carefully designed to meet customers’ needs, welfare of staff and to maintain the integrity of the environment.

Eco-Friendly Features

As holders of the ISO Environmental Standard accreditation , ReAgent incorporated eco-friendly features into the new factory to reduce carbon footprint.

LED lights have been fitted throughout, as have destratification fans to help keep the temperature constant. Combined, these features dramatically reduce energy consumption.

The factory’s outdoor drainage system has automatic detection which identifies hazardous chemicals and shuts off the drains in the event of an accident.

A Better Working Environment

The welfare of clients and staff is reflected in a larger office space, a break room where courier drivers can rest, and a new canteen. There is also a passenger lift for those with accessibility requirements.
