As a former Audit Manager, Chief Financial Officer and Division Controller for a huge company I can tell you no one would feel comfortable explaining ....."as of January 31, 2019, and before that date,............". The Investor was bailing for several weeks and someone was likely tipped in order to buy on the cheap. Did we not see in five minute spaces hundreds of thousands of shares change hands. This is the same company that often would go ten minutes without 5,000 shares traded.
It will be a lot easier for the new CFO to answer questions............"sorry but I was not here when that was started".
The reverse stock split is a nice arrow for the Company to have in its quiver, hopefully it well not be the only arrow. While the Company seems to be in a good position to survive any mounted attack by the investor, the end result might be bad for us shareholders as there will be heavy dilution.
