A partnership deal will dramatically increase the price per share. Yes, they may pump it higher than you'd think -- they've already set up some pumping identities for that eventuality -- and all you have to do is look at the pump'n'dump the VERY SAME PEOPLE did on AVXL some years ago to see how they do it. (I was reading the lieHUB AVXL board at the time, and the same identities that were bashing CTIX/IPIX were pumping like crazy on AVXL.)
But we've seen this many times, a deal or great clinical trial results give investors confidence that the company is going to have a success, and many people want to get in while it's cheap. IPIX surely qualifies as cheap now, especially when you look at the high market caps of companies that have no drugs in clinical trials, or maybe one drug in a Phase 1.
