While the initial phone launch may have been a failure, that does not predicate failure with the new phones. Different management, different phones, different business as a whole -- this version of Andiamo appears to be gathering its ducklings and lining them up.
Now per the lifecycle, parse that down a bit: that phone is a year old. The new phones are considered better than the old models. Management has apparently determined an annual-ish lifecycle on phones - per the blog post you're saying isn't any good.
So knowing the above information, as the manager of your own hypothetical phone company, what would be a solid, logical business decision to make when ordering, testing, and implementing a phone with a product lifecycle of say, a year to a year and a half?
