In all fairness, depending on the vendor, sometimes resolving cert issues can be a real pain. I get why they make it so rigorous, it's a big deal to have the certificates verified. However, when something is down, it's not a pleasant experience trying to get something fixed, everything is down and the vendor is lackadaisical about resolving the problem in a timely manner. I'm looking at you name.com (never, ever, ever use them!). Glad to see it was just a technical issue.
