I agree .... The only reason for going into Europe at this time and with our financial condition is as a harbinger of an upcoming partnership based in Europe.
Why Europe? Maybe Leo only wanted to do the OM at this time and he is getting a strong deal from Europe for just OM. If term sheet partner wanted to ram the IBD down Leo's throat, maybe they were playing hardball and being very tight on monies in the deal as well. The new info on B working well in gastric fluids showed it will be worth far more than he could get at the current time. I don't worry about the old term sheet deal, whether it is dead or alive, as I think there is a lot more positive news in regards to both OM and IBD now so the pool of interested, very interested, BPs has grown since Thanksgiving.
As others have stated, lots of possibilities but if it isn't as a precursor to a near term deal it may signal there is not a deal coming forth as early as many were expecting.
Lots of questions, and this is not said in a negative way, but in reaction to the company appearing to be quite proactive.
