Illegal Alien Slit Woman’s Throat, Left Her On Side Of North Carolina Road

KERNERSVILLE, NC (The Winston-Salem Journal) – A Kernersville man was indicted Monday on charges that he assaulted a woman with a knife and left her in a car on the side of Business 40 last year.
Rosendo Jimenez Santiago, 35, of Afton Park Drive, was indicted by a Forsyth County grand jury on felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury.
The woman was found on the side of Business 40 near the Macy Grove exit about 9:40 a.m. May 11, 2018. According to the indictment, the woman’s name is Sara Lynn Montalvo Bodden.
Kernersville police said she had cuts to her throat and underwent surgery for serious injuries.
The Kernersville Police Department said Bodden and Santiago knew each other, and investigators were trying to establish where the assault happened.
It was not immediately clear when his first court date in Forsyth Superior Court will be.
