The FBI told a secret federal surveillance court in 2016 that it believed Carter Page, a onetime foreign policy aide to President Donald Trump’s campaign, “has been collaborating and conspiring with the Russian government” in its efforts to interfere in the presidential election
The FBI set up Carter Page and lied in the FISA applications!
The 400 page FISA application was released but so heavily redacted it is useless! Thanks to Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch. Now Trump must declassify and release the four applications.
The problem is that the British were heavily involved in setting up Page, a fact that the FBI prefers to remain classified. Remember that Steele is British!
By the time the FBI began investigating Page in Oct. 2016, Page had already left Trump's campaign team.
