The Management Board of PLLC Kauno Energija (hereinafter – the Company) (code – 235014830) approved on 30 January 2019 a non-audited Set of Consolidated and Company’s Financial Statements of 12 months of the year 2018, prepared according to International Financial Reporting Standards, as adopted by the European Union.

The result of Company’s activities of 12 months of the year 2018 according to International Accounting Standards is profit in amount of EUR 4,553 thousand (12 months of the year 2017 is profit in amount of EUR 6,046 thousand), turnover from sales is EUR 61,329 thousand (12 months of the year 2017 – EUR 59,692 thousand). The result of activities of the Group which as at 31 December 2018 consisted of PLLC Kauno Energija and of its subsidiaries – LLC Kauno Energija NT (code – 303042623) and LLC Petrašiūnų Katilinė (code – 304217723) is profit in amount of EUR 3,973 thousand (the result of 12 months of the year 2017 is profit in amount of EUR 6,861 thousand), turnover from sales is EUR 61,317 thousand (the result of 12 months of the year 2017 is EUR 59,680 thousand).

EBITDA of 12 months of the year 2018 is: Company’s – EUR 12,657 thousand – at 12.1 per cent less, than in the year 2017 (12 months of the year 2017 – EUR 14,391 thousand), Group’s – EUR 12,707 thousand – at 19,9 per cent less, than in the year 2017 (12 months of the year 2017 – EUR 15,861 thousand).

Company’s profit of 12 months of the year 2018 decreased by EUR 1,493 thousand in comparison with the result of the same period of the year 2017 due to the additional heat price constituent, started to apply from May 2018 and decreasing heat price by 0.62 ct/kWh (excl. VAT). This constituent has been started to apply without waiting the decision of National Commission for Energy Control and Prices (NCC) regarding determination of new base heat price constituents to refund to consumers Company’s additional income, earned on the difference between prices of fuel purchase and consumption, actual and included in the price of heat, and between prices of purchase of heat. A constituent in amount of 0.29 ct/kWh (excl. VAT) decreasing the price of heat has been started to apply Starting from 1 December 2018 after new base heat price constituents became valid.

The amount of the heat sold decreased by 0.8 per cent in comparison with the year 2017, Company’s turnover from sales increased by 2.7 per cent due to the 3.3 per cent increase in the average selling price of heat.
