JUST IN: LEFTIST RAG “The Telegraph” Apologizes…Pays Melania “Substantial Damages” For SIX Big Lies In Recent Article

Make no mistake about it, the leftist media outlets who spew propaganda and outright lies in an attempt to defame or humiliate President Trump and his family are going to pay.
Donald and Melania Trump are nobody’s fools, and they’re not going to sit back and let someone falsely malign them without a fight.
It’s no secret the UK publication, “The Telegraph” is no fan of Donald Trump, but when did it become okay for publications who make it a habit to run hit pieces on our President, to make up lies about his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, and her parents?
Just now, The Telegraph apologized to Melania, while publishing an astonishing list of six lies they told about her and her parents. They also mention near the end of the article that they will be paying her a substantial settlement including any legal fees she has incurred as a result of the lies they told about her.
Here is their apology:
Following last Saturday’s (Jan 19) Telegraph magazine cover story “The mystery of Melania”, we have been asked to make clear that the article contained a number of false statements which we accept should not have been published.
(1)Mrs. Trump’s father was not a fearsome presence and did not control the family.
(2) Mrs. Trump did not leave her Design and Architecture course at University relating to the completion of an exam, as alleged in the article, but rather because she wanted to pursue a successful career as a professional model.
(3) Mrs. Trump was not struggling in her modeling career before she met Mr. Trump, and she did not advance in her career due to the assistance of Mr. Trump.
We accept that Mrs. Trump was a successful professional model in her own right before she met her husband and obtained her own modeling work without his assistance.
(4) Mrs. Trump met Mr. Trump in 1998, not in 1996 as stated in the article.
(5) The article also wrongly claimed that Mrs. Trump’s mother, father, and sister relocated to New York in 2005 to live in buildings owned by Mr. Trump. They did not.
(6) The claim that Mrs. Trump cried on election night is also false.
We apologize unreservedly to The First Lady and her family for any embarrassment caused by our publication of these allegations. As a mark of our regret, we have agreed to pay Mrs. Trump substantial damages as well as her legal costs.
