Trading Summary - January 25. An excellent day
Post# of 2306
An excellent day of progress for $TMPS with another 96,981 shares bought - all in the .1600 to .1749 range.
I was too busy trading multiple runners on my Watch List today to follow every nuance of trading on $TMPS. However:
- It was noteworthy that one large bidder managed to fill 50K at .1600 ($8K) by tempting a few small holders to sell for a low-level profit.
- Most of the buys were hits on the ask - at these price levels it is at each MMs discretion to decide the minimum threshold to show on each of the ask and the bid.
- It was also obvious that part filled earlier sell orders were being bypassed and filled later after hits on the ask at a higher level.
- It was also obvious that there were invisible bids within the displayed spread.
- However, none of the trading showed any evidence of dilution or manipulation.
Over on iHub, there is a degree of anticipation and excitement at the prospect of getting a US Navy contract for the tanker fleet. However, most of those posting there still seem to be completely unaware of the much wider opportunities that are self-evident to military aviation professionals that I have outlined in my authoritative posts over here - both in the stickies and the reposted batch of posts #447 to #464.
I also stand by my theory that the stock needs to get run up to over .5200 so that the organization that was paid for the tanker fleet last year in shares can cash out if they wish - much as happened during the orchestrated out-of-the blue run to pay for the storage and maintenance that was spotted last year when it surged way past the relevant .1800 on more than sufficient volume. It would make sense for insiders on that deal to also accumulate shares on the way up to profit from those as well which is why MMs may be operating to "big money" customer orders. This adds a whole different dimension to the rise on "just" the possible early US Navy contract.
I also need to repeat that it is not a matter of competition between the established company in the sector - Omega - and $TMPS. There is more than enough military work for both and the $TMPS fleet is bigger and better (as explained in detail in earlier posts).
Also, regardless of all the above, $TMPS is an established US DoD contractor with several multi-year contracts already for the operation of "special mission" aircraft.
$TMPS is therefore well-known to military retirees who would love to fly and maintain the tanker fleet and there has also been keen interest from ex-216 Sqn Royal Air Force personnel (who used to operate the Tristar fleet) as they loved the aircraft and would jump at the chance to get an EB-3 Visa to live and work in the USA and eventually become US citizens.
This $TMPS board has been the Most Viewed on Investors Hangout for the past 3 days - with 30,000 to 40,000+ views per day. A lot of that will be my Watch List Twitter followers reading up on the multiple historical posts outlining the background to the military air-to-air refueling and the current and future prospects for contractor owned elements in the sector.
Those of us that load under .2000 can just sit back, relax and be patient for a demand-led run and developments from the company.
