I suppose the main thing is that most people are holding out hope that their PTOI investment money didn't vanish so they don't want to badmouth the person in control whether or not that person swindled them. Maybe they feel that railing against skeptics will curry some favor with Mr. Heddle and that he'll try to align himself with investors.
Still--he's a dishonest man who took all the money he could pull in which almost certainly went for his own compensation and he left shareholders out to dry. Even if I were a shareholder, I wouldn't be able stomach the thought of praising him or defending him against skeptics after what he's done.
