Notice that the price didn't go from 79 to 71 based on a massive selloff. It went down on a whopping 40k shares. In an honest world, maybe that was just a smaller trader looking for an exit. In a more calculating scenario, this was an attempt to test the tolerance of the longs, seeing if a low volume sale could walk it down and cause a panic sell, or series of sells, once someone sees their account in the red. Traders know people have psychological thresholds, and hitting the bid to drop the price on low volume is a great way for them to cause people to get swayed on emotion; and should they do so, it is a great place for those who walked it down to load cheap shares and/or cover short positions. It's not just the share price that matters, it's also about the volume. A sharp drop in price, in tandem with a low volume walk-down, is not a massive selloff.
Also, remember that the potential open short position on the 48M share day was in the .005's. If that is still open, they are going to want to cover before the 8-k drops. So, if you see the price go from 79 to 71 on 40k shares, then to 65 on 40k shares and then into the 50's on similar volume, you'll have a good idea what's happening. Of course, always do what is best for you, but just be aware of some of the mechanics used to achieve certain ends.
Looking forward to the 8k, the BOD integration, iMedscan adoption and expansion, growth of InMed, and new acquisition targets revealed. This should be a very solid year.
