as per astrophysicist hugh ross the billions of years it took to prepare the unique earth for an advanced civilization pales to the outside window of 41000 years that such a civilization can exist
maybe they should focus on what we've learned in the last 20 years which proves an ever finer model of the big bang and the implications of that
20 years ago they didnt even know that over 95% of the matter of the universe existed -dark matter and dark energy
and that due to dark energy eventually-millions or billions of years from now -things at the far reach of our telescopes-that we could not even see til recently- may not be visible bc those bodies will be receding from us at greater than the speed of light (this line of reasoning is always a secular humanist mindset which ignores the implications of the big bang)
