It is providing a one stop organization that meets all or most of a patient's needs so that they don't have to go out of the network and for the organization, it beats putting all your eggs in one basket, if one piece of the network is not as profitable as another piece, it gives the organization some slack. Its a win/win for both the patient and the organization.
