What will Thoma-Bravo,TPG,Cisco do after reversal?
When we won UTAP we climbed to .03
When we win the appeal court , we do so unlike when we climbed to .03 just STARTING THE SETTLEMENT PROCESS .
The difference is NOW after the reversal, we are year into the settlements process with DUO/ Cisco , Centrify, Vasco Trustwave, etc.
Settlements will happen much sooner. Big difference.
Now armed with a Appeal win, SCOTUS guidance, Precedent , our Patent is iron clad. We could see .07 to .15 maybe more
Also our patent and its financial significance in the way of Billions of dollars from damages and future revenues from everyone using it will pay SFOR, is more widely known now in the investment community.
Consider this:
If Blank Rome and Ropes and Gray are on contingency because of the potential billions they are convinced is attainable in future litigation windfall, don't you think that companies like Thoma Bravo, TPG, Cisco are also aware of SFORs financial future also?
They have been known to purchase huge amounts of shares in other businesses to have a significant stake in company they consider buyout targets for themselves or will make money on the sale to other security giants.
WIth TPG selling First Data they have lots of access to lots of billions to play with in the acquisition game. Cisco repatriated 96 billion dollars to play with spending 2.3 billion on puny DUO.
