I played briefly with Google Analytics a few years ago, just to see what it did. It was quite fascinating all the info it dug out from hits on a website! Definitely tracking someone's buying habits, preferences, the likelihood of a conversion and helping customize the experience to them would be a big help to someone selling products.
Anything that can help salespeople focus on good prospects and not waste time on ones that aren't going to buy, would be a huge plus.
